Soap Opera Genre Plays
Scriptless Soap Opera
Soap operas are the perfect vehicle for an improvised show. They provide outrageous characters, wild plots and classic scene work centered on emotions and relationships. We study how to instantly create memorable characters with a clear Want, heighten emotions and plot points, and come to a satisfying conclusion. We finish up with a costumed student showcase at our black box theater, Studio Gokko.
